Coaches & TM's
As a volunteer club, Knox United SC relies on dedicated individuals to coach and manage the majority of our teams. We express gratitude to those who step forward for these roles.
Firstly, we would like to acknowledge that Coaches are typically unpaid volunteers who dedicate their time and passion for the betterment of players and the club. As a community club, the dedication of volunteers, including the Knox United SC Committee, is paramount to the success of the club. Without Coaches and Managers, we cannot form teams, and our kids can't play this game.
This dedication is appreciated by Knox United SC, and through the Committee, Coaches will be supported to play their role and develop their skills where relevant.
REGISTER AS A COACH/TEAM MANAGER
Before You Begin
You will need a Football Account to register. If you don't have one, create one at playfootball.com.au using your email address, Facebook, or Google login. Make sure the account is in your own name.
All non-playing roles (Coaches, Team Managers, Referees) are required to upload a Working With Children Check (WWCC) during registration, unless an exemption applies.
Step-by-step registration

Go to Play Football
Visit playfootball.com.au and select "Re-Registering to Play this Season" — or "Register" if this is your first time on the platform.

Select your role & find your club
Select "Coaches, Referees & Volunteers", then search for your organisation in the search bar and select it from the results.

Sign in
Sign in to your Football Account when prompted. You can use email, Facebook, or Google login.

Select your registration product
A list of available products will appear. Find the relevant role — Coach, Assistant Coach, or Team Manager — and select "Details", then click "Register".

Who are you registering for?
When asked "Who are you registering for?", select "Myself", then click Continue.

Terms & Conditions
Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions, then select Continue.

Participant details
Fill in your personal details — first name, last name, date of birth, home address, nationality, etc. Select Next when complete.

Contact details
Complete your contact details, then select Save Participant.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Follow the path that applies to you:
✔ I have a valid WWCC
- Select "Yes"
- Choose the type of check
- Enter the required details
- Upload a photo of your WWCC document
- Click Next
✗ I do not have a WWCC
- Select "No"
- Select "Apply exemption from document upload"
- Choose the applicable exemption type
- Click Next

Upload your photo
Upload a current photo of yourself. This is used for match day identification purposes.

Club-specific questions
If your club has any additional questions, fill these out and select Next.

Review & pay
Review all your registration details carefully. Select "Confirm and Pay" NOTING THERE IS NOTHING TO PAY and click "Submit Registration". You're done!
